This soon to be mini-mogul seems to have it all. Lauren Conrad has moved from a level headed reality TV star dealing with too much drama to a best-selling author and fashion designer (currently, she spearheading an affordable line at Kohl's). And what's next for Lauren? Well, as this months Glamour cover girl, she answers all your questions (and then some)!
On the cover, she looks relaxed in Juicy Couture brand shorts with her hair loosely flowing, channeling her beach upbringing. For a little Hollywood sparkle, she wears a silver Citizens of Humanity tank top and her famous smile. Inside, she gets candid about being in the public eye and its effects, her favorite jeans (BDG from Urban Outfitters and the super high heeled Jimmy Choo Shoes, sexy but casual. "They're affordable and I go through them so quickly; I rip and stain and spill on them. I'm like a five-year-old!") and whether or not she wants kids, joking that she can't even take care of a plant!
Since this month's issue focuses on friends, Lauren chats all about her famous "Hills" friends (Whitney Port and Lo Bosworth) and those who preferred to stay behind the scenes, remarking, "They didn't really have an interest in it. They were behind the cameras eating cereal in the morning." She even talks about romance during filming of "The Hills" admitting, "I never had a boyfriend off camera; it wasn't allowed. So I had a rule: I would date someone for two weeks, and that was it. Anyway, the first two weeks are the best!" We're glad she found a longer romance with now boyfriend Kyle Howard, who she also mentions in the issue.
Lauren even answers some readers' questions, revealing her hair philosophies and woes, as well as her body issues. To get those silky locks, she uses a different shampoo everyday but no hair products. She even admits to having hair extensions because of a terrible bob that she thought would be "chic."
It's hard to imagine anything being terrible on this beauty, even cellulite, which she is brave enough to discuss, "About a year ago, I looked down and thought, I have cellulite. Where did that come from? I went through treatments; my body was like, It's not going anywhere."
