what ski bindings to get?
I getting K2 Wayback skis and was wondering what AT (alpine touring bindings, they lock down the heel for going down the mountain, unlock it for going up) bindings to get (I don't just need info on AT bindings, I also need some info on boots and what bindings will fit if you know anything about this). I'll only be doing back-country skiing, weigh 107 pounds, and am 5ft. 4in. (not sure if this will help you answering what ski bindings to get...). What bindings would fit on the skis, the ski dimensions are:

Tail Width (mm):108
Also what would you recommend for boots, I hear Scarpa is pretty good, so is Black Diamond, what do you think? Finding the bindings seems to me to be the next step so I can see what boots work with them. ANY info at all about skiing would be much appreciated, whether it's about good ski sites, forums, boots, bindings, techniques, advice, etc.

The Marker bindings are pretty heavy for touring. They are good for side-ventures and accessing areas where you can't get to with a cat or lift, but if you have to skin up an entire mountain I suggest looking at the Dynafit bindings and boots. Unless they changed stuff, Dynafit bindings need Dynafit boots. A lot of my AT friends use these. They are not as beefy as the Marker or Fritzche bindings, so if BC freestyle stuff is what you want, these may not be for you. The Frtizche bindings are a happy middle ground between the Markers and the Dynafits. Just about all of the bindings will fit the ski, just make sure you buy ones with wider brakes. 88mm isn't that wide, so you shouldn't have a problem finding bindings with wide enough brakes.
As for boots: Scarpa are good, but tend to fit people with narrower feet better. If you have a wide foot I wouldn't suggest Scarpa. Black Diamond are good too, and fit most people well. If you have a wider foot look at Garmont. All of these use a standard AT toe and heel. They will work in any standard AT binding. Again, a lot of people I know use Dynafit as well. If you want to go with that set-up you may need to make a more serious investment at the boot fitter. However, the Dynafit users I know all have very different feet as well, so they seem pretty accommodating.
Personally, I like a shorter boot because of my big legs and a shorter boot allows for easier uphill travel. If you plan to go fast and/or take air you might want a higher boot for more stability and a better transfer of power into the ski.
